What makes our Muddlers so special?

Muddlers get a bad rap; they're either too short knuckle-busters, coated with lacquer that peels off in your drink, metal and slippery, moldy and gross, or way too costly to be an every day tool. We wanted to build something that solved these problems, was a joy to use, and didn't break the bank.

American Hardwood

Each muddler is turned from birch, cherry, or walnut; woods known for beauty and durability.

  • Birch is fine-grained and pale in color with a subtle wood grain pattern once conditioned. It is often used for hardworking tools like rolling pins and tool handles.
  • Cherry is one of the most prized furniture hardwood in America. With it's smooth grain, reddish-brown color, and resiliency, it is renowned among woodworkers.
  • Walnut is a dark wood with impressive grain once conditioned. Due to its beauty and hardness it is used for everything from fine furniture to cabinetry.

American Manufactured

Our muddlers are made right here in the USA in a +100 year old woodworking shop. After lathing, each muddler is rubbed down by hand with our custom food safe Muddler Wax to help your muddler stay in top shape through the onslaught of acids and alcohols.

Designed With Care

Through trial and error and years of industry experience, we worked to remove the shortfalls of common cheap muddlers.

  • We designed both long and stubby versions to match your muddling style.
  • Palm stops and finger ridges keep your knuckles safe from the tin edge
  • A large flat bottom and rounded contours helps ensure you smash not shred delicate herbs
  • Bell shaped bottoms allow our muddlers to stand upright in the tin or on the bar
