Muddled Cocktails: El Largato

Look at this beautiful color! It's a sweet and spicy one for sure. El Largarto:3 one inch chunks of Dragon Fruit2.5oz Tequila (@espolontequila )3/4oz @cointreau_us 1/2oz Lime JuiceGarnish plus a sprinkle in the shake @jacobsensaltco Ghost Chili Salt. #muddlefiercely Dragon Fruit and Lime juice in the tin. Add tequila, cointreau, ice, and a sprinkle of the Chili Salt. Shake vigorously. Rim glass with Chili Salt, strain, and enjoy!Featured here is our Walnut Muddler. Muddled Cocktails: Muddled Cooler

Here is a funky little cooler for you...Muddled Cooler:1.5oz Batavia-Arrack1.5oz @puebloviejomx Blanco Tequila3 Mint Leaves1/2 Blood Orange5 BlueberriesIceCrushed iceQuick note on Muddling Mint leaves. Most cheap muddlers out there have those serrated ends. These are terrible for herbs and peels as they over express or in the case of Mint, chop it to death and leave it mucking up your drink. That's why our muddler has a flat bottom, you can express those mint oils without filtering mint chunks with your teeth later. #saynotoserratedmuddlers Squeeze Blood Orange juice into tin, add Blueberries, and Mint. Muddled Cocktails: Letters of Urgency

Snow Leopard Melons!  These super sweet and tasty members of the honeydew family are killer and make for a great cocktail. Dazzling Display3 large chunks of Snow Leopard Melon (Honeydew will also work).2.5oz Cachaca ( @novofogo )1oz lemon juice.5oz SimpleEgg whiteIceTanjin to rim (and a little to waste for the grams)Muddle melon in the tin.Add simple, lemon juice, Cachaca, and egg white to the tin. I like to pull the spring off my Hawthorne strainer and "dry" shake my egg whites with it in the tin to froth everything well. Put the spring back on, add some ice, and shake vigorously. Muddled Cocktails: Archangel

A simple but interesting muddled cocktail for this evening, the Archangel. Seen here with our Birch Muddler. Archangel:1 Thick Cucumber slice2.25oz Gin (I used my go too Old Tom @ransomspirits )3/4oz AperolIceClassically, you want a 🍋 twist garnish but we used the last of ours in a last minute ricotta so it's a fuchsia flower from the garden. Two Brothers, two derby predictions. Growing up just north of Louisville, we are big fans of the Derby; having been to several and never missed catching the race.  Obviously we are making a Mint Julep, a classic muddled cocktail.
